Tell us a little bit about your journey so far as a beauty therapist?

Bryony tells us “I am in my 24th year working in the beauty industry. “She started at a salon in Windsor. Then moved on to Nirvana Spa for a spell. Her next move was to join the beauty team on a cruise ship travelling the world whilst also pursuing her passion. What an exciting way to live! Prior to her recent move to Ellie’s Beauty, she worked in a salon in Wokingham for 15 years.

What is your favourite thing about your job?

Bryony was quick off the mark on this question and said, without any hesitation, “Making people feel good”. There is something very satisfying about making other people happy.

What is your favourite way to spend a day off?

Taking a nice dog walk with her Partner and Daughter. Bryony has a lovely 12-and-a-half-year-old Beagle who thoroughly enjoys exploring nature. She also is a self-proclaimed foodie, enjoying all aspects from planning to cooking and of course eating great meals with her family.  

What is your bucket list location and why?

“Borneo to see the Orangutans.” Bryony is a huge animal lover and thinks that seeing the Orangutans in their own habitat would be an amazing experience not to be forgotten. 

What is your favourite tv series?

This is Us and Killing Eve to name a few, but she also loves First Dates and all the corny dating shows.

If money were no object, what would you do?

Bryony paints a picture of a beautiful house with a Beagle sanctuary beside the sea, she added “I would invest money and make sure I look after everyone I love and care for.” 

What are the top three lessons you would teach your younger self?

1. Believe in yourself
2. Mum is always right
3. Enjoy it and don’t hold back
