Upfront Deposits, Cancellations & No-Show Policies

At Ellie’s Beauty, we prioritise your time and commitment to our services. We require a 50% non-refundable deposit which is required at the time of booking your appointment. Please note that we are not able to accept cash deposits. Online bookings via Fresha will require a  deposit at booking to confirm the appointment. We reserve the right to cancel any appointment made via Ellie’s Beauty that isn’t confirmed with a deposit as soon as it’s booked and requested. For cancellations and rescheduling of appointments, we require at least 48 hours notice to ensure you can transfer your deposit to a future booking. You can reschedule your appointment up to 48 hours before, and your deposit will be transferred over. However, no-shows and cancellations within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment time will result in the loss of the deposit. We enforce a zero-tolerance approach to no-shows. Continuous reschedules or cancellations of appointments within 48 hours will result in 100% deposit being taken at the time of booking, this full payment will be lost if the booked appointment is missed or rescheduled within our cancellation time frame. Please note that while our booking system is designed to send automated appointment reminders as a goodwill gesture, these are not guaranteed and should not be relied upon as the sole means of remembering your appointment. It remains the client’s responsibility to attend at the scheduled time, regardless of whether a reminder is received. In the event of any technical issues or errors that prevent reminders from being sent or received, we cannot accept liability for missed appointments. In extreme circumstances within the 48 hour window, we may consider refunding the deposit or rescheduling the appointment without penalty, but this is evaluated on a case-by-case basis and is at the manager’s discretion. We strongly recommend you read and understand all of our policies.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

Membership and Subscription Cancellation Policy

At Ellie’s Beauty, we understand that life can be unpredictable and that things don’t always turn out as planned. Therefore, if you need to cancel or reschedule any appointment within your 12-month subscription service, we kindly ask that you provide us with at least 48 hours notice. We will do our best to accommodate your needs and be flexible whenever possible.

If you fail to provide us with 48 hours notice, you will be subject to a cancellation fee and loss of appointment within your subscription course, in line with our terms above. If a client cancels three appointments for the same subscription service, we reserve the right to terminate the subscription with no refund.

Should your circumstances change and your current subscription no longer meet your needs or is no longer appropriate we will allow the subscription credit to be used on alternative treatments which will be authorised and confirmed with management.

We also understand that sometimes events out of your control may arise. In such cases, we will review your request for a refund on a case-by-case basis and make our decision at managements discretion.

Make Up Appointments with Yasmine

We do not accept rescheduling of make-up appointments & we do not issue refunds for cancellations.

Client Relations

We keep a record of appointment bookings and changes to appointments to ensure smooth operation and service consistency. To ensure our business is efficient we reserve the right to no longer accept bookings from clients who consistently change, cancel or reschedule appointments over a period of three or more appointments. We also do not accept poor behaviour of clients towards our staff and therefore it is also at our discretion to discontinue our professional relationship with clients who continue to display inappropriate behaviour.

Retail Products Refund & Exchange Policy

Products must be returned unused, unopened with their seal intact and in the same condition as they were originally purchased from Ellie’s Beauty. We will not exchange or refund any item which has been used or is not in the exact condition in which it was purchased from us. Due to some products containing sell-by or used-by dates we cannot accept returns after 14 days of purchase. Proof of purchase for your item is required always. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Gift Voucher Conditions

Once issued, the value on the Ellie’s Beauty Gift Card can be used as full or part payment at Ellie’s Beauty Salon.

The monies on the card cannot be exchanged for cash. Any remaining balance will be stored on the card and may be used to pay for future purchase. Any additional cost exceeding the value of this voucher will be paid by the redeemer.

All monies on the card must be used by the expiry date which is 12 months from the date the card was issued. Any balance left on the card after 12 months of not being used will be deducted.

You should treat this card as cash – it cannot be replaced if lost.

Please be aware that if you select ‘Standard Recorded’ delivery and the item goes missing in the post, we will investigate for you and provide you with the relevant information, but we are not liable to replace, compensate or refund any funds that may have been lost.

The card is not a credit, debit, or cheque guarantee card. Ellie’s Beauty reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time or withdraw the card on reasonable notice.

In the event of any dispute, the decision (Ellie’s Beauty) is final. Your statutory rights are not affected.
